Compressed natural gas is natural gas stored under pressure, and it is not a refined petroleum product. It reaches filling stations through the gas network instead of by refinery and tanker, and it is priced through a separate process, so it does not appear in the petroleum price notification with petrol and diesel.
Furnace oil is the heaviest of these fuels and is sold in bulk to industry and power plants instead of at retail. It has a large effect on the cost of electricity and almost none on filling a tank, so this guide leaves it out.
