Kerosene Oil (Mitti ka Tail) Price in Pakistan Today

Kerosene is heavier than petrol and lighter than diesel. It burns steadily in a simple wick lamp or pressure stove with no engine involved, which is why it is useful in places with little infrastructure.

Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) is the grade notified for household use. Jet fuel is closely related, but it is a separate product with its own specification.

In the northern valleys and other areas the natural gas network does not reach, kerosene remains a working household fuel — room heating through a hard winter, cooking, and lighting where the electricity supply is unreliable or absent.

Burn it only in appliances made for kerosene and keep the room ventilated, because a heater running in a closed room can build up carbon monoxide with very little warning.
